Play

We were in a play for church, Jenna had a dance and I had a solo! We have been doing choir for 4 years. We have a lot of fun doing it. Our friend Danielle does it too. We have a lot of fun doing it together. Our play was set in the 50's\80's. It was a dinner theater (FREE FOOD) so Andrew came. I am so glad we wore t-shirts and rolled up jeans because, we were burning up because of the lights on stage! Mom and Dad took lot of pictures but 99% of the pictures were blurred.

Horse Camp/Weekend

Its 58 days 'till "Camp Sandy Cove" Vic and I cant wait! We are going to ride horses all week! And do outdoor cooking, kayaking, and Horseback riding. We also do trail rides.

Anyway this last weekend we stayed at the McNutts, the Houges, and the Secrists. At the McNutts we went in the woods and went horseback riding. At theHouges we jumped on the trampoline every day and went in the hot tub. At the Secrists again we went to the woods.

My parents went to a wedding and they went to California and it was a seek wedding! They got this really cool design on their hand! Aunt Judy got her design by a professional. I'll show picts later!

Emergancy Room

Today I had to go to the E.R. we only were there 3 hours!!! Daddy and I went and we sat in the waiting room for 20 seconds tops!! We went in the room (22) and we sat there and the nurse came in and did her thing and the x-ray man came in and took my regular x-ray. Then the doctor (who ironically, used to be our neighbor) came in and he found out that it was a small bone that is connects to my thumb that was bothering me. I had to get another X-ray, a more detailed X-ray. It turns out I didn't have a broken bone, I have a sprained wrist.

At The Boat

Right now I'm blogging from Kate's house. She is at the dentist with Sabrina. We are watching Sarah and she is taking a nap. This morning we where watching "Thomas the choo-choo train" and she always kisses her Thomas train goodnight and so when we put it on she kissed the screen of the TV. It was so cute!

Anyway, Dad got up two nights ago and went to work while we went to sleep, in the morning Kate picked us up and took us to her house but when we got there we forgot half our bags! But the guys at the boat yard found them and kept them for us until we came for them. The best part was that they weren't mean about it!

Today we are going back to the boat so we can go home with Dad I'm so exited because this is the first time I've left Salem with Andrew if it didn't work out I might take my cat on my trips. That or get James Morrison to take care of her.

Spring Is Here

The day after tomorrow we get to go on the boat and clean from Sunday-Friday. Anyway I can't believe Spring is already here!!!! On Wednesday we are staying be at Kate's so I might be able to write then!! Here is a school assignment.

The First Thing I See

Looking out from where I'm sitting on the flowery bed, I see houses lining the dirty street. Our driveway is the home to our Toyota mini van, Honda, Avalon. Skateboarding gear clutters our neighbor's yard. A plum tree reins over the garden, that includes evergreen bushes and pretty little flowers.

April Showers Bring May Flowers

Today we took photos in front of our plum tree. It was blossoming into beautiful shades of pink. It rained all night for 3 nights so everything is lush and green. Besides that we are going on the boat tomorrow to fix it up and clean it. Victoria and I are so excited that we are going on the boat.

PS Since we will be on the boat we may not be able to post any new blogs. We may be able to do one on Wednesday since Kate invited us to spend the night at her house that night.

Out My Window

Out my window I gaze at the blossoming bushes, and the plum tree with pink leaves. I also see purple bell flowers. Two shaggy green bushes really need a trimming. Behind that I see a faded green mailbox with snapdragons all around. Scanning the scene I think, "Who doesn't like God's creation in Spring?".

Yesterday we had a busy day, To start the day we got up at 7 am!! Then Dad had to take Salem to the vet. After that Andrew was on the computer and he claimed he was going to work in "20 minuets," he left two hours later to go to training but, it was worth it. Andrew brought home a big bag of goodies!!!!! At 4:45 we had to get ready for our violin concert, and the pick up Amanda. We has rehearsal and the sat through the recital and we were very last!!

BLUBBER (continued)

One week ago we we put a post about blubber. In the pictures we are doing an experiment. We took 1 rubber glove and put it on the left hand. On the right hand we tookthe rubber glove, put it on and coated it in vasiline, then put another rubber glove over it. We got a stop watch and timed how long it we couldkeep our hands in the ice cold water. We learned that blubber is one way a seal can survive in the arctic.
