thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is a special time of year. This time of year we have family over to eat. this year we had Kate Matthew (only for a day while we kept the girls)and the two girls Sarah and Sabrina. We also had Grandma and Grandpa Annable. Every year we have a huge feast of turkey, mashed potatoes, casseroles and cranberry sauce. We also ate harmless oysters :( when ever somebody bit out of it i thought of my filtering oysters working so hard:(. That was a sad moment and I'm sad:( but I'll get over it. We had a great thanksgiving with a lot of leftovers.

"School Days"
I thought I would share some photos of what the first few months have been like for the girls at "school." Throw my oar into the water so to speak. Fall is such a beautiful time of the year to be outside we have spent a lot of time on our boat traveling. Whenever we anchor - if we can - we try to go on nature walks, and because the girls are studying trees and plants in science it gives them a good excuse to be "out among them" (the trees that is).
Also, there are a few times when things do not go so well, and even thought we think something is interesting (like the oyster industry) sometimes we have a little trouble convincing the girls. It wasn't until they started raising their own did they start showing any enthusiasm.
Normally the girls are generally pretty excited about learning things in general, so it has been fun going ang seeing different places and experiencing different things, whether it is doing your work in a dingy or "dashboard"
the work somehow gets done.
normal day
