Today we saw a squirrel sticking his head out the side of the grill!!!!!! He just sat there! We should try a recipe for squirrel-burgers from Aunt Kris that she passed on to Kate. by Victoria

Winter Wonderland

We woke up this morning to a coating of ice. It was beautiful but there were lots of broken tree branches. Our electricity was off for about 45 minutes this afternoon. There are high winds for this evening. It is a Nor'easter!

Today is a boring, nothing to do but play dance dance type of day. It's the yawniest day ever but we know what frugal means, and yes it is a real word. Look it up if you don't believe me. DDR

Have you ever heard of Dance, Dance, Revolution? It is this fun dancing game, you have to follow arrows and step on the arrows on a mat. Jenna and I were playing it (we own it) and I was out of breath! My friend Amanda Still is the master of it! She plays on the hardest level!The company has 8 Cd's out of different types of Dance Dance! By the way do some of these stretches before doing it. Those are pictures of Jenna and Ally doing DDR.

We where watching birds and a squirrel jumped up and tipped the feeder. Those pesky squirrels!

Advent

We do Advent every Sunday to celebrate Christmas. We have a log with 4 candles and each candle represents something. This year we are doing songs and so far we have done the song of Mary and Zechariah. Our log sits in our fireplace and we light 1 candle every time we do Advent so this time we lit 2 candles. This was our 2nd week doing it this year.

First Snow!!!!!!!!!!

Today we had our first snow. We went out side to changed the bird seed and it struck me, I didn't have any boots, ski bib, or any gloves! We had to go to target to get that stuff. We played outside alomst 4 hours !! We went to the pit (it is a bowl shaped pit) and we went sledding. We had a snowball fight with Ally. It is still snowing!

Go Figure, Go Fish!

Have you ever heard of Go Fish? If you haven't you will soon! I guarantee it! Jenna and I were in a singing group called The Ambassadors and we sang with them!They are going on tour in '08. These aren't very good pictures but they will do. Our choir sang with them. To save you the trouble you probably will have to buy tickets ahead of time. We oversold 73 tickets and our sanctuary holds 1,000 people!If you go to www.gofishguys.com you can hear their music and Jason (a go fish guy) has a blog. The 3 man band has a slogan, "we have music that kids love and won't drive their parents bonkers".

The go fish guys names are Jason, Jamie and Andy.

thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a special time of year. This time of year we have family over to eat. this year we had Kate Matthew (only for a day while we kept the girls)and the two girls Sarah and Sabrina. We also had Grandma and Grandpa Annable. Every year we have a huge feast of turkey, mashed potatoes, casseroles and cranberry sauce. We also ate harmless oysters :( when ever somebody bit out of it i thought of my filtering oysters working so hard:(. That was a sad moment and I'm sad:( but I'll get over it. We had a great thanksgiving with a lot of leftovers.

Violin Days

Today is the first day of violin for the school year. We started when we were about 6 or 7. Our first violin teacher was Rachel White. Now we are swiching to Jessica Nelson. We have lots of songs. It feels really good when you learn a new song.
